Day 76 - Donations to the Food Pantry

The Frisco Food Pantry is definitely one of our monthly trips and we love to help them out whenever we can.  Today the girls and I checked their online list to see what they were most in need of and then made a trip to the store.  It's wonderful because they update their most needed items list DAILY so you can always get them exactly what they need at any given time.

The girls love dropping off donations because sometimes the staff will let them look around and they love seeing how it all works.  They are amazed that the store front of the food pantry actually looks like a real grocery store and that their items will go on those shelves with everyone else's donations.

Food pantries are such a lifeline to so many families in need so please remember your local food pantry, not just during the holidays but all year long.  They rely on ordinary people like us to keep those shelves stocked for families facing hard times.
