Day 112 - Reusable Bags on Cars for Earth Day

Today is Earth Day and the weather is beautiful!!  To help bring awareness about today I decided to leave reusable grocery bags on car windshields in the grocery store parking lot.  It's such a small change someone could make but can have a huge impact.  We added a little note asking them to enjoy their bag and wishing them a Happy Earth Day with the following Native American saying...

"We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."

 

So enjoy today by celebrating this wonderful earth we've been entrusted to take care of for the short amount of time we're on it.  Recycle, plant a tree or a garden, pick up trash, buy locally or just dust off those reusable bags under the counter and ditch the plastic.
