Day 140 - Donated $10 in OK Storm Relief

Today a horrific tornado hit Moore, Oklahoma close to Oklahoma City.  It was at least an EF4 and possibly an EF5.  They said the debris field was over 2 1/2 miles across.  Unfortunately homes, businesses, a hospital and even a school were destroyed.  Currently there are 51 deaths (at least 20 are children) and over 24 children are still missing from the school.  Heartbreaking.

When tragedies like this occur, especially close to home, it's very easy to feel helpless when you want to help but don't want to impede search and rescue efforts.  Luckily there is presently a very easy way to help those in need that is immediate.  You can text FOOD to 32333 to donate $10 in storm relief.  This can help with immediate needs, search and rescue and care and supplies for survivors as well as first responders.

So for today's random act of kindness I donated $10 in storm relief and continue to pray for the 24 missing children from Plaza Towers Elementary.  So sad.
